Surf lessons are available from April to November, with morning sessions from 10 am to 12 pm and afternoon sessions from 2 pm to 4 pm. Pricing for a 2-hour beginner or intermediate lesson is £40 per person. If you're looking for a more personalised experience, Outer Reef Surf School also offers private, family, and multi-activity package lessons upon request. Alternatively, if you prefer to venture out on your own, surfboard and wetsuit rentals are available as well.
During the prime season from June to August, the surf lessons primarily take place at Freshwater West and Manorbier Beach, renowned for their consistent waves. In the early and late seasons, from April to May and September to November, the instructors carefully select the best locations based on the prevailing conditions, which may include Freshwater West, Manorbier Beach, Tenby, Saundersfoot, Broad Haven South, Newgale, and more.

For a successful surf lesson, it's recommended to bring a swimsuit or board shorts, beach shoes or flip-flops, a beach towel, sunscreen, a bottle of water, and warm clothes for changing afterwards.
