Sunshine Coast Baseball, located in Pacific Paradise, is a thriving baseball association that caters to players of all ages and skill levels. With a focus on fun, friendship, and active living, Sunshine Coast Baseball provides opportunities for individuals aged 4 to 105 to participate in the exciting sport of baseball.
For children aged 4 to 7 years, Sunshine Coast Baseball offers the Aussie T-Ball programme. This age-appropriate, modified introductory programme introduces young boys and girls to the game of baseball. The six-a-side bat and ball game is designed to encourage kids to have fun, make new friends, and learn and develop new skills. The 10-week Aussie T-Ball programmes run three times a year in line with Queensland school terms, and each child receives a team shirt and a Sunshine Coast Baseball cap for a fee of $160 per season.
There are no additional expenses or equipment requirements, apart from enclosed shoes and a water bottle.
For older children aged 8 to 14, Sunshine Coast Baseball provides the North Shore Development Leagues. These leagues offer a great way for children to maintain an active lifestyle while improving their baseball skills. The North Shore Development Leagues run on Saturdays in Term 4 and Sundays in Term 1, with a fee of $185 per term.
Sunshine Coast Baseball's North Shore Champions League is designed to cater to players of all ages, from 15 to 105. This league provides a platform for both new and experienced players to come together and enjoy the sport they love. The Sunshine Coast Baseball Association proudly supports and organises the Gold Coast ANZAC Masters Tournament, which will be held over the Anzac Day Long Weekend in April 2023 at the Surfers Paradise Baseball Club in Benowa. The tournament offers opportunities for players over 35 and over 45 to participate in competitive baseball.
