Sunshine Butterflies Swim & Rec Club is a sports club located in Noosa Shire on the Sunshine Coast. It is a disability support service and charity that aims to empower individuals with disabilities by creating a unique and all-inclusive community.

Sunshine Butterflies Swim & Rec Club has experienced significant growth since its inception in 2010. It started as a volunteer-run organisation with just a few members and has now become one of the region's largest employers, with over 90 staff members and 30 volunteers. The founder, Leanne Walsh, has been dedicated to reducing the stigma of disability within the community and has been instrumental in the club's growth and success.
In 2014, Sunshine Butterflies purchased a 5-acre property called “Our Backyard” in the Noosa Countryside. This property has been developed into a unique community facility that offers inclusive facilities, activities, and services for the entire community. In June 2021, the club expanded its territory by purchasing a 10-acre property next door, further expanding “Our Backyard” into a 15-acre oasis. This expansion will provide the club with additional space to expand its educational and recreational programmes, allowing them to support more individuals with disabilities and their families.
The club is proud to have the support of sponsors, contributors, grants, and donations, which have been instrumental in creating and sustaining their much-needed programmes and services. They invite individuals and organisations to make donations to support their cause.
