Sundowners Yacht Club is London's leading sailing club, offering a range of yacht cruising events both locally and internationally. As a virtual, not-for-profit club, we cater to both experienced sailors and those new to sailing. With a focus on fun, friendship, and great sailing, we provide a welcoming and relaxed environment for all members.
At Sundowners Yacht Club, we organise 3 or 4 overseas trips each year, as well as home-based events in small flotillas. Whether you're interested in exploring the Solent in the UK, sailing in Europe, or venturing further afield worldwide, we have you covered. Our skippers are all qualified, ensuring a safe and enjoyable sailing experience for everyone.
We are proud to have obtained RYA Affiliation status in September 2015, highlighting our commitment to promoting safe and responsible sailing practises. This affiliation helps us provide quality training opportunities for our members and maintain high standards of safety on our sailing trips.
In addition to our sailing events, we also host regular meetups in London. These meetups provide a chance for club members to socialise, share their sailing experiences, and make new friends who share a passion for sailing.
