The Newmarket Skating Club is thrilled to invite skaters to their upcoming Summer Skating Programs, kicking off on July 2nd, 2024. Whether you're a seasoned StarSkater or just starting out, there's something for everyone in these 8 weeks of fun-filled activities. The StarSkate Training Camp is designed to cater to skaters from Bronze to Gold levels, providing a comprehensive training experience both on and off the ice. From honing your Jump and Spin techniques to improving flexibility and cardiovascular fitness, the camp has it all.
Running from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm daily at Magna Ctr on 800 Mulock Drive, early drop-off at 8:15 am is available for convenience. Parents are required to sign in and out their skaters each day for added security. Gold Star Skaters should come ready to hit the ice, while Silver/Bronze levels can look forward to engaging off-ice activities. Don't forget to wear the Camp T-shirt provided and pack all the essentials like skates, helmet, lunch, snacks, water, and sunscreen. And yes, it's a peanut-free zone with pizza Fridays for a tasty treat!
