Join the exciting Summer Riding Camps offered by Kyra Londos Equestrian, Horse Riding Lessons! These camps run over the summer and spring holidays, providing a fantastic experience for campers. Each camp day starts with preparing the horses for riding, followed by a minimum of an hour-long lesson. Campers will enjoy plenty of riding, engaging in various activities such as games, horsemanship, liberty training, obstacle courses, painting, and even dressing up the horses with glitter on the last day. Participants will also learn valuable information about horses, including their anatomy, gaits, and proper care through interactive and hands-on activities. These camps are recommended for ages 8-12, with limited spaces available for ages 5-7 on select days.
The Spring Camp 2024 will take place on March 19-21 and March 26-28, while the Summer Camps 2024 will run on July 24, July 9-11, August 6-8, and August 13-15. Riders are required to have specific riding gear, including riding boots with a defined heel and a certified riding helmet. For beginners, temporary gear can be borrowed, but long-term riders are encouraged to invest in their own equipment. Proper attire is essential, especially for hotter days, so make sure to bring cooler clothes and sun protection. Additionally, pack a lunch, snacks, and water as camps involve a lot of physical activity. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended for post-riding walks. Come join for a fun and educational experience on horseback!
