Peel Hockey Association is excited to announce their upcoming summer hockey competitions at The Sporting Globe Stadium in Halls Head. Whether you're a junior player, a senior player, or a seasoned master, there's a competition for everyone to join in on the fun.
For our HookIn2Hockey junior players in school Years 1 to 4, the games will be held on Tuesday nights from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm. We will be creating teams in two age groups, Year 1-2's and Year 3-4's. This is a fantastic opportunity for participants to learn the basics of hockey within a modified game format. To learn more and to join a team, please select the 'More Information' option.
Our Mini 7's competition is open to junior players in school Years 5 to 6 (with experienced Year 4's also permitted). These games will also take place on Tuesday nights, on a half field with 7-a-side mixed gender teams. We require a minimum of 4 teams per competition, and there will be two time slots available for games, at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Players in school Years 7 to 10 (with experienced Year 6's also permitted) will have the opportunity to participate in our Maxi 7's competition. These games will be held on Thursday nights on a half field, again with 7-a-side mixed gender teams. Just like the other competitions, we require a minimum of 4 teams per competition, with two time slots available for games at 5:00 pm and 6:00 pm. Looking for a more social and relaxed game? Our Social 7's competition is open to both senior and junior players in school Years 10 and above. These games will take place on Thursday nights and are designed to be fun and enjoyable. Played on a half field with 7-a-side mixed gender teams, this competition is suitable for beginners and returning players alike. We require a minimum of 4 teams per competition and have two time slots available for games at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm. For more details on the current season, please click on the link below.
We haven't forgotten about our senior players either! Our Masters 7's competition is specifically for players aged 35 and over. These games will be held on Tuesday nights and offer a social game format with a focus on fun. Players of all skill levels and returning players are more than welcome to join. Just like the other competitions, we require a minimum of 4 teams per competition, with two time slots available for games at 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
