Sensei Wicks boasts an impressive martial arts background, having won numerous major Wado-Ryu titles including the World Championships, European Championships (four-time winner), and Wado Cup. He has received training directly from Master Tatsuo Suzuki 8th Dan Hanshi, the individual responsible for introducing the Wado-Ryu style to England in 1965. Additionally, Sensei Wicks holds the prestigious role of WIKF World Chief Instructor, appointed by Sensei Suzuki himself in 2009.
