Led by Head Coach Rob Hodgins, a Level 2 ABA coach with 30 years of boxing experience, Suffolk Punch Boxing Club has a proven track record of producing skilled boxers, many of whom have won titles under Rob's guidance. The club focuses on various aspects of boxing, including boxing fitness, boxing core training, footwork, bag work, combination of punches, pad skills, and sparring for advanced boxers.
The state-of-the-art facilities at Suffolk Punch Boxing Club feature two full-size boxing rings, traditional and Aqua Punching Bags, a functional training area for pad work and footwork drills, as well as access to cross-training facilities. The club also provides opportunities for fighters who wish to compete, regularly taking them to various competitions and hosting their own boxing events. Currently, Suffolk Punch Boxing Club boasts 3 area champions.
The club offers a range of classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels. The Mini Rockets class is designed for 5-8 year olds, the Rocky Rockets class for 9-11 year olds, and the Junior Boxing class for 12-16 year olds. For those looking to compete, there is the ABA Boxing class. Additionally, the club offers Thump Boxing, a boxing pad fitness class, as well as classes for beginners, intermediate boxers, and advanced boxers.
