Sue's Swim Stars

Sue's Swim Stars is a sports club located in Wollongong, Australia, offering personalised and affordable swimming lessons in a non-threatening environment. The club boasts an 8m backyard pool, enclosed and heated to a comfortable temperature of 32-34 degrees Celsius, depending on the season. This provides a perfect environment for swimming lessons all year round.

Sue's Swim Stars takes pride in its highly qualified instructors, who have over 30 years of experience teaching and coaching swimming. They hold several qualifications, including a B Ed (PD/H/PE), Austswim/Swim Australia/ASSA registered swim school certifications, and Austswim teaching qualifications. The instructors are well-trained to cater to all age groups, from babies to adults, and are experienced in teaching individuals with special needs. They hold Senior First Aid and CPR certifications to ensure the safety of all participants.

Term 4 at Sue's Swim Stars runs from Monday 9th October to Friday 15th December. The club accepts Active Kids and First Lap Vouchers, making it more accessible to families.

Fees for lessons at Sue's Swim Stars vary depending on the class type. Private lessons, with one student per class, are priced at $30 per lesson. Semi-private lessons, with shared classes, are priced at $17 per child per lesson. Fees are to be paid before the start of the term.

Currently, there are no vacancies available for swimming lessons at Sue's Swim Stars. However, the club offers options for missed lessons. Parents are asked to notify the club before 8am if their child will miss a lesson. In the case of illness or other unforeseen circumstances, two make-up lessons are available per term with a doctor's certificate.

Alternatively, parents can choose to withdraw from lessons during holidays and rebook upon their return, although spaces cannot be guaranteed.
