Sturgeon Lake Sailing Club

Located in Fenelon Falls, Ontario, the Sturgeon Lake Sailing Club, also known as SLSC, is a sailing school and children's camp that offers Sail Canada's CANSail curriculum programs for children aged 8 to 17. The club's morning program runs from am to pm, providing a safe and fun learn-to-sail experience for students of all sailing abilities. In addition to teaching basic sailing and racing skills, the knowledgeable sailing instructors at SLSC also focus on fostering confidence, perseverance, and teamwork among the young sailors, all while ensuring an enjoyable and enriching experience.

For the upcoming summer season, SLSC is delighted to reintroduce the Race Team option, which will run throughout the summer on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. This year, the club has added two new levels for participants to choose from: Learn to Race and Sr Race Team. By offering a variety of programs and options, SLSC aims to cater to the individual needs and interests of each young sailor, encouraging personal growth and skill development in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Throughout the season, SLSC adheres to the latest COVID-19 protocols as outlined by the Government of Ontario, in addition to the guidance provided by Sail Canada and Ontario Sailing. This commitment to safety ensures that all participants, staff, and families can enjoy a worry-free and rewarding sailing experience at the club.
