Studio Tap 'n' Groove (Formerly Shaynes) is a vibrant and inclusive dance school located in Kurri Kurri, Australia. With a focus on fostering fun, fitness, friends, and family, Studio Tap 'n' Groove offers a variety of dance styles for all ages and abilities.

Established in 2023, Studio Tap 'n' Groove has quickly become a prominent name in the performance and dance community in the bustling city of Newcastle. Miss Tarni, the Studio Principal, is renowned for her expertise and passion for dance. She often provides performance opportunities for students who are interested, further enhancing their experience.

The dance school has a rich history, with its predecessor, Shayne's Tap 'n' Groove, running successfully in Kurri Kurri for over 35 years. In 2023, Shayne made the decision to pass on the baton to Tarni, her former student of 21 years. Studio Tap 'n' Groove continues to offer the same classes, styles, and philosophy that Shayne's Tap 'n' Groove was beloved for, but with a fresh new face and name.

Studio Tap 'n' Groove is immensely grateful for the support and loyalty shown by the families who have stayed on during the transition. The dance school is excited to welcome new families and invite them to be a part of the energetic and dynamic 'Groove Crew' in 2024.

Conveniently located at Kurri Kurri Girl Guides & Anglican Hall on 116 Lang St, Studio Tap 'n' Groove offers a welcoming and spacious environment for dancers to pursue their passion. The operating hours are as follows: Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30pm to 8:30pm, and Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are closed.
