Studio 79

Studio 79 is a renowned dance school and rehearsal studio located in the heart of Leicester's City Centre. These state-of-the-art studios are available for hire, attracting bookings from community groups and professional dance/theatre companies.

During the evenings, Studio 79 comes alive with Studio Youth, a programme for students aged 3–18 years old. Studio Youth offers a variety of dance classes, including street dance, contemporary, ISTD ballet, modern tap, and more. The studio also has competition crews in street dance and festival students specialising in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and acrobatics.

In addition to their courses and programmes, Studio 79 also collaborates with WQE to offer the BTEC Level 2 First Diploma in Performing Arts (Dance). This one-year course combines practical and theoretical assignments and is heavily performance-based. Students gain an overview of the dance industry, develop performance skills, and obtain practical skills in IT, communication, the performing arts business, and health & fitness.
