At Studio 52, we believe in providing excellent tuition while cultivating a sense of creativity and self-expression in our students. We offer regular assessments, presentation days for parents, specialist workshops, and the opportunity to perform in our professional theatre shows held every other year. These experiences help our students develop their skills and gain confidence in their abilities.
Our dedicated and experienced staff is led by our Principal, Frances Woods. Frances is a former pupil of the school and has trained professionally in all styles of dance. With over 20 years of teaching experience, she specialises in Classical Ballet and Classical Greek Dance. Frances is a member of prestigious dance organisations such as the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and the Royal Academy of Dance, ensuring that our students receive the highest quality dance education.
Studio 52 is conveniently located in the central village area, and we have two spacious studios for our classes. We provide a comfortable waiting area for parents and offer free car parking, making it convenient for families. We welcome children from as young as 3 years old, and all our staff have enhanced DBS checks as well as public liability insurance. The welfare of our students is of utmost importance, and we prioritise their safety and well-being.
Our staff undertakes continued professional development annually in areas such as health and safety, first aid, safeguarding, and child welfare.
We believe that dance should be accessible to all, regardless of background. We teach various dance styles, including Classical Ballet, Classical Greek, Modern Theatre, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, Street Dance, Baby Ballet (Pre-School), and even Singing, Drama, and Musical Theatre. Our goal is to promote the benefits of exercise, instil a sense of self-confidence, and teach the importance of hard work and reward. Senior students who excel are also given the opportunity to assist in younger students' lessons, allowing them to develop leadership and mentoring skills.
Studio 52 is known for our excellent dance tuition, and we continually strive to provide the highest quality dance education. In addition to our regular classes, we also host guest teachers and specialist workshops to expose our students to a variety of styles and techniques. We hold regular assessments to track progress, organise presentation days for parents to witness their child's growth, and produce professional shows at the Castle Theatre in Wellingborough every other year.
Class times are available both on weekdays in the afternoons and evenings, as well as Saturday mornings, offering flexibility for busy schedules.
