Street Dance Classes with LJ Dance

LJ Dance – Dance & Gymnastics Club in Preston is excited to promote their upcoming Gymnastics For All event! This event is perfect for all gymnastics enthusiasts, whether you're a beginner or have some experience under your belt.

The Gymnastics For All event offers a fantastic opportunity to showcase your skills and have a great time with fellow gymnasts. LJ Dance believes in fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, where everyone can learn and grow at their own pace.

Located at St. James Church in Lostock Hall, Preston PR5 5QY, LJ Dance provides a convenient and accessible venue for their classes. For Street Dance enthusiasts, they offer classes for both juniors and seniors.

The juniors class is suitable for those who are new to the style or simply enjoy dancing without the desire to compete. In this class, dancers will learn the basic foundations of street dance, along with routines and even some tricks. Exceptional dancers from this class may also have the opportunity to be selected for a competition team.

For those seeking a challenge, LJ Dance offers a senior class for dancers aged 12 and above. In this class, dancers will not only delve deeper into street dance but will also have the chance to explore some commercial dance elements. Most dancers in this class will become part of a competition team, pushing themselves to new heights.

The class schedule is as follows:
- Juniors: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings
- Seniors: Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings

LJ Dance understands the importance of finding the right fit when it comes to dance classes. That's why they offer a trial period of 4 weeks for new dancers. During this trial period, new dancers can try out the classes before committing. Payment is made weekly, and the cost is calculated based on the number of hours attended, at an affordable rate of £4.50 per hour.

After the trial period, dancers have the option to become full members and pay monthly fees. The monthly fee for beginner/junior classes is £17, while it is £25.50 for intermediate/senior classes. These fees cover 45 weeks of the year and are paid on the 1st of each month. LJ Dance deducts 7 weeks off for holidays, including Christmas, summer, and Easter breaks, as well as an additional week for any coach cancellations. There is no contract, but members are kindly requested to provide 1 month's notice if they decide to leave after becoming full members.

Due to space limitations and current COVID-19 restrictions, LJ Dance, unfortunately, cannot allow parents to watch the classes. However, they regularly post videos and photos on their Facebook page, allowing parents to catch a glimpse of their child's progress. Additionally, LJ Dance actively participates in carnivals and shows where parents and guests can enjoy watching their dancers perform.
