Strawberry Hill Dance & Pilates Centre, located in Newent, Gloucestershire, is a dance school and pilates studio run by the esteemed Miss Sarah Taylor. With our own purpose-built dance studio, we offer a range of classes including ballet, tap, modern jazz, lyrical, street, hip hop, and pilates for individuals of all ages and physical abilities.
At Strawberry Hill Dance Centre, we believe in cultivating a love for dance and prioritising the enjoyment of the art form. Whether you're a budding Darcey Bussell or simply looking to enhance your physical fitness, everyone is welcome, regardless of age, race, or background.
Our experienced and talented teaching staff strive to provide each pupil with a holistic learning experience. We aim to help our students develop self-confidence, pride in their work, poise and coordination, musicality, artistic expression, discipline, creativity, and technical skills in their chosen dance genre.
As a member of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA), we are able to enter our pupils for examinations at preparatory to advanced levels. The RAD and IDTA also offer scholarships, which our students can apply for.
In addition to our dance classes, we also offer pilates sessions. Pilates is a system of exercises that utilise apparatus and your body's core strength to improve physical strength, flexibility, posture, and mental awareness.
Our class timetable runs throughout the week and includes options for preschoolers to adults. Whether you're interested in ballet, tap, modern jazz, street dance, hip hop, or pilates, we have a class that suits your needs.
