Strathmore & District Riding Club (SDRC) is a well-established and reputable horse riding field located in Forfar, Tayside, Scotland. With a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1972, SDRC recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary. As an affiliated riding club with the British Riding Clubs, SDRC follows the rules and regulations set forth by the British Riding Club.
At SDRC, we offer a wide range of activities and events for both riding and non-riding members. Whether you're a seasoned equestrian or just starting out, there is something for everyone. One of our primary goals at SDRC is to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all our members. In line with this, we highly prioritise safety standards. Starting from 1st January 2023, the club will only accept riding hats that meet the BRC guidelines. Hats made to the older standards PAS 015 1998 and SNELL E2001 will no longer be accepted.
Riders are required to have hats that meet the following standards: PAS 015 (2011) with the BSI Kitemark or Inspec IC Mark, or VG1 01. 040 (2014-12) with the BSI Kitemark or Inspec.
