Strabane Cricket Club

John, the organiser at Strabane Cricket Club, welcomes the sports community to join him at what he likes to call 'the local's favourite pitch’! Nestled at 25 Park Road in Strabane, the club is open to players of all ages and abilities. John takes pride in the club’s warm and friendly atmosphere, making it a great spot for both members and visitors.

The club has some top-notch facilities including a Club House, changing rooms, and showers. There’s a cricket pitch for matches, two off-field training nets for practice, and an all-weather playing surface so the game goes on, come rain or shine.

Need a place to unwind after a game? The licenced bar is just the spot, and there’s a function room for those special events. There’s even a kitchen to ensure everyone stays fuelled up and ready to play.

John’s worked hard to accommodate everyone, with teams for every age group and skill level. There’s a 1st XI, 2nd XI, Women’s XI, U15, U13, and U11 teams. He’s committed to developing players of all ages with regular training sessions.

For those aged 14 and above, adult training sessions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, running from April to August. The U14s have their go on Fridays from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm during the same period. Women’s training sessions are to be confirmed, so keep an ear out for more info on that.
