STQI Scarborough is a renowned martial arts school located in Scarborough, offering traditional Shaolin Kung Fu classes led by Master Shi Guo Song, a 34th generation Shaolin warrior monk and World Kung Fu Champion. With over 25 years of experience in martial arts, Master Shi Guo Song has mastered various martial arts styles, including Shaolin boxing and weaponry, and has performed martial arts in over twenty countries for cultural exchange.
Established in China in 1996, STQI expanded to Scarborough in 2018 under the guidance of Shi Chang Chuan, who has been studying under Master Shi Guo Song for over a decade. Instructor Chuan aims to create an engaging and focused environment for students to reach their personal and fitness goals while spreading the Shaolin culture.
STQI Scarborough offers a range of classes, including Traditional Kung Fu classes focusing on power, speed, flexibility, and endurance, Qi Gong classes for building internal energy and improving health, and Boxing Fitness-Defence classes for a fun and energetic workout focusing on defensive footwork, punching, and kicking.
