About
Join the Stoke Gifford Taekwon-Do family, part of the Bristol Taekwon-Do community, and affiliated with Westbury-on-Trym Taekwon-Do. Fran White, our chief instructor, has been a Taekwon-Do enthusiast since 2001, achieving her Black Belt in 2008 and 4th Degree in 2015. Classes are at two great spots: The Trust Hall on North Road, Stoke Gifford on Tuesdays, and The Community Hall on Little Stoke Lane on Fridays.
Timetable:
- Little Lions (4-6 year olds): 4.30pm – 5.00pm
- Junior 1 (7-12 year olds): 5.10pm – 5.50pm
- Junior 2 (7-12 year olds): 6.00pm – 6.55pm
- Adult & Black Belt (13+ years): 7.00pm – 7.55pm
We offer the first two classes free so you can see what we’re all about. Little Lions focus on life skills like self-esteem and confidence through fun sessions. Juniors learn Taekwon-Do fundamentals with patterns, sparring, self-defence, and more. Adults dive deeper into these skills.
Fran is passionate about creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, helping students grow not just physically but mentally and emotionally too. Come improve your concentration, self-confidence, and discipline while enjoying great camaraderie with fellow members.
