The crown green at Stocksbridge Friendship Bowling Club can be found behind the Friendship public house on the main Manchester Road in the heart of Stocksbridge. The green is well-maintained, thanks to dedicated volunteers, and is surrounded by flower and shrub borders, providing a pleasant atmosphere for both bowlers and spectators.
The green is open for play seven days a week from late March till October, barring competition matches or maintenance work. The club takes part in several local leagues, including the Sheffield Parks, Sheffield & District, Sheffield & Hallamshire, and Dearne and Don leagues.
