Was to one day open my own martial arts school and share my knowledge and passion for Tae Kwon Do with others. After years of training and dedicating myself to the art, I am proud to present Stockport Tae Kwon Do.
Stockport Tae Kwon Do is a well-established martial arts school located in Stockport, New Zealand. We offer classes for both adults and children, providing a safe and friendly environment for students to learn and grow their skills.
Led by our highly experienced instructor, Ruth Chare, who holds a 7th Dan black belt, we are committed to providing quality instruction in Tae Kwon Do. With over 20 years of experience, Ruth is one of the highest graded instructors in the country. Her expertise and passion for the art shines through in every class she leads.
Our classes focus on the fundamental principles of Tae Kwon Do, including self-defence techniques, discipline, respect, and improving physical fitness and flexibility. We believe that Tae Kwon Do is not just a martial art, but a way of life, teaching students valuable life skills that they can carry with them outside the academy.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner, our classes are designed to accommodate students of all skill levels. We provide a supportive atmosphere where students can progress at their own pace, and our instructors are dedicated to helping each individual reach their full potential.
Stockport Tae Kwon Do offers classes three times a week. Our Stockport location is at St Philips Primary School, Half Moon Lane, Offerton, and classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00 to 8:00pm. For our Northwich location, we have classes available on Monday nights at Northwich Youth Centre, Winnington Lane, Northwich. Junior classes for children aged 5 upwards are held from 5:00 to 6:00pm, and a mixed age class for adults and children aged 8 upwards is held from 6:15 to 7:45pm.
