
Welcome to STMA (Shaolin Tigers Martial Arts) Academy Reading, Scours Lane Branch. The academy is owned and run by Dan Eden, a former World Champion Kickboxer and Black Belt (4th Dan) instructor. Shaolin Tigers is a long-standing Martial Arts club founded by Chief Instructor Frank Bowen-Aquilina in 1984.
Over the years, the club has trained multiple world champions and is open to all levels of experience. The brand new STMA Academy Reading branch is one of the largest Martial Arts Academies in the UK, offering over 2,500 square ft of space.
The academy features an upstairs area with Berkshire's only MMA cage and a downstairs area with a reception, large championship size ring, matted area, and specialised training equipment. At Shaolin Tigers Martial Arts Club, you can train in various martial arts disciplines, including Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu, and MMA.

STMA Academy Reading also has qualified coaches offering boxing classes, catering to all ability levels, from those looking to lose weight and get fit to competitors aiming to become national champions. Additionally, the academy is the official training ground for Ultra White Collar Boxing Reading shows, which raise money for Cancer Research UK.
