St. Louis Gym is a vibrant parish located near uptown Waterloo, Ontario. The community is warm, inclusive, and always thrilled to welcome newcomers and visitors. The gym offers a wide range of activities for parishioners, including pickleball sessions on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.
The gym has a maximum capacity of 30 for these sessions.
In addition to physical activities, St. Louis Gym also offers faith enrichment programs. These include a study of the Mystery of Jesus' Passover from the Gospel of John, led by lay missionary and experienced educator Frances Hogan. There is also The Great Adventure Bible Timeline program with Jeff Cavins, which takes participants on a guided journey through salvation history.
For those interested in more reflective activities, St. Louis Gym hosts a Book Group and discussion after morning Mass on Tuesdays. The group recently finished “My Sisters The Saints – A Spiritual Memoir” by Colleen Carroll Campbell and will be watching and discussing the docudrama “Love and Faustyna” before starting a new book, “The Heart of Perfection – How the Saints Taught Me to Trade My Dream of Perfect for God's,” also by Colleen Carroll Campbell.
The gym also offers Lectio Divina sessions once a month based on the readings for the following Sunday. The goal of these sessions is to listen with the heart to the word of God in all of life's situations. St. Louis Gym is a welcoming and inclusive community that offers a range of activities to help parishioners grow both physically and spiritually.
