St Ives (Cambs) Sub Aqua Club, also known as SISAC, is a thriving SCUBA diving club located in St. Ives, New Zealand. Established in 1975, the club has been dedicated to providing top-notch diving experiences and quality training for over four decades.

SISAC prides itself on being an active club with a strong community of more than 40 members. With five experienced Instructors leading the way, the club offers comprehensive training programmes and courses for divers of all levels. From beginners to advanced divers, as well as instructors and those looking to develop specific skills, SISAC has the resources to cater to a wide range of diving interests.

One of the club's key advantages is its access to a pool for training and member use. This facility allows divers to practise their skills in a controlled environment, ensuring that they are well-prepared for open water adventures. Additionally, SISAC provides scuba equipment for both training purposes and hire, making it convenient for new divers to get started without the need for immediate investment in their own gear.

SISAC's dive trips are a popular highlight among members, with the club organising an impressive 4–6 trips each year. These trips encompass a variety of destinations, ranging from one-day excursions to the beautiful South Coast, to week-long expeditions in unspoiled locations like Scotland and beyond. These trips offer divers a chance to explore new underwater environments and create lasting memories with fellow enthusiasts.

The club's regular meetings take place every Sunday night by the pool, starting at 8pm and concluding at 9:30pm. Following the training session, members often gather at a local pub to further strengthen their bonds and enjoy each other's company. SISAC also hosts frequent social events to foster a strong sense of camaraderie among its members.

SISAC welcomes divers of all backgrounds and experience levels to join their community. In addition to providing access to meeting and training rooms, the club offers try dives to potential members who are curious about the sport.
