Stillbrook Riding Stables, located in Keene, offers a wide range of opportunities for both children and adults to experience the joy of horses in a safe and interactive environment. The motto of the stables is “The outside of a horse is the best thing for the inside of a child. “ The stables are thankful to their Corporate Sponsors, LANCER ELECTRIC, for their support.
Children can participate in the Stillbrook Day Camp, where they can enjoy trail rides and a 2-3 hour morning program. Due to Covid uncertainty, full-day camps are not offered this year. The stables are open Monday through Saturday, and Sundays are reserved as a family day. Dogs are not allowed on the premises.
Lessons in English and Western riding are available for riders of all levels, from beginners to advanced. Children aged 4 and above can participate in lessons tailored to their needs and goals, whether they are looking to build confidence or compete in show jumping. Stillbrook Riding Stables also offers scenic trail rides year-round for riders aged 6 and above. The trail rides begin with a brief lesson in the arena or outside ring before heading out onto the trails. Groups of up to eight riders can be accommodated, with the option of attaching a lead line for added safety. Trail rides cost $61.
95 HST per person for a one-hour ride.
The stables are proud to introduce their horses, including Amazing Grace, a retired show horse, and Stillbrook's Blue, an athletic Arabian-Thoroughbred cross gelding.
