St Heliers Bowling Club, located on Auckland’s beachfront, has been serving the bowling community since 1913. Founded by a community passionate about sport, the club offers stunning views of Rangitoto Island from its clubhouse.
Tony, one of the key organisers, ensures the club maintains its two premium bowling facilities: a natural green open from September/October to April/May, and an all-weather carpet green available year-round. Both greens are impeccably maintained for an optimal bowling experience.

In addition to its bowling facilities, Tony has overseen the development of two spacious lounges. The upstairs meeting lounge, equipped with a full kitchen, holds up to 100 guests, making it suitable for corporate and group events. The ground floor lounge, adjacent to the Bowling Green, seats 80 and includes a well-stocked bar, creating a welcoming environment for both members and visitors.
The membership at St Heliers Bowling Club is diverse, including over 120 playing members, social members, and a Petanque Division. The club accommodates both competitive bowlers and those who prefer a casual approach, with regular roll-ups on Saturday and Thursday afternoons for friendly games.
