Welcome to Step-In-Time Line Dancing Herefordshire, a vibrant dance club and dance school located in Hereford. At Step-In-Time, life is a dance, and you learn as you go! The classes offered here are designed to keep your body moving and put a smile on your face. So, let's dance and have fun with your feet, one step at a time.
In light of the current situation, Step-In-Time Line Dancing follows certain guidelines to ensure the safety of all attendees. While there is no booking system in place, it is requested that anyone feeling unwell does not attend class to safeguard others. Hand sanitisers are available, and everyone is kindly asked to use them upon arrival.
Line dancing is the main focus at Step-In-Time. It is a fun and energetic dance style that involves dancing in lines or rows, usually to country or pop music. It is a great way to stay active, improve coordination, and socialise with fellow dancers.
Classes are held at various locations throughout Herefordshire. On Wednesdays, classes take place in Hope-under-Dinmore at the Hope-under-Dinmore Village Hall. Absolute beginners start at 6:30 pm, followed by beginners at 7:00 pm and continuing until 8:00 pm. There is also an option for improvers/intermediates from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
The cost is 5 per person, with a reduced rate of 3 for those under 16.
Thursdays bring line dancing to Bromyard, where classes are held at St Peter's Primary School on Cherry Tree Close. The schedule is the same as Wednesdays, with absolute beginners at 6:30 pm and beginners at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The cost for Thursday classes is 7 per person, with under 16's paying 4.
On Fridays, Step-In-Time Line Dancing sets up at Saxon Hall - Putson Community Centre in Hereford. The classes follow the same format as Wednesdays, with absolute beginners at 6:30 pm, beginners at 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and improvers/intermediates from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm. The cost is 7 per person, and under 16's pay 4.
Step-In-Time Line Dancing also offers private functions and event services. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, wedding, stag/hen party, or family gathering, including line dancing as part of the entertainment will surely make the occasion memorable. Karen Knight, the manager and instructor of Step-In-Time Line Dancing, started her line dancing journey in 2015. It began as a way to meet new people, stay active, and enjoy herself. Over time, Karen developed a deep passion for line dancing, attending classes at different levels and even participating in festivals. Through her experiences, she discovered her love for helping others learn and join in on the fun.
This led her to start her own line dancing classes, creating an opportunity to introduce beginners and reintroduce those who have been out of the dance scene to the world of line dancing.
