Welcome to Stealth BJJ HQ, the top Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Oldham, Manchester. Led by 4th-degree black belt instructor Steve Campbell, our team offers classes for both beginners and advanced students. At Stealth BJJ, we believe in creating a supportive and inclusive environment where new starters can quickly become valuable training partners for the future.
To ensure a safe and progressive training experience, we have developed a structured beginners programme. This programme follows a syllabus that focuses on fundamental techniques, allowing students to train and excel regardless of their height, weight, or athletic ability. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, made famous by the Gracie family in early UFC events, is an effective form of self-defence that prioritises correct technique and leverage. Our classes not only improve fitness but also instil self-confidence in our students, equipping them with the skills to defend themselves in life-threatening situations.
What sets Stealth BJJ HQ apart is the expertise of our instructors. Steve Campbell, a highly experienced black belt with a successful competition record, leads all classes. We are proud to offer a range of classes to suit different goals and interests. Once you have completed our fundamentals course, you can choose to join sparring classes, where you can put your skills to the test in a live training environment. In addition, we have technique-only classes and an online training site, providing resources for all levels from beginners to advanced blue belts and above.
Stealth BJJ HQ was founded in 2008 by Steve Campbell, the first Mancunican Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. Since then, the gym has grown in strength and now offers a dedicated programme for beginners and a structured syllabus for efficient skill development and progress.
As a testament to our commitment to quality instruction, we have a team of qualified instructors with 20 black belts among them. With 45 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes offered each week, we ensure plenty of opportunities for training and improvement.
