Established in 1971, the club initially competed in Junior Football before moving up to win the Intermediate Championship. Currently, the club competes in the Senior League (Cusack Cup) and Senior Football Championship in Clare, fielding teams from U7 to U21, as well as Junior and Senior levels.
The club's iconic maroon jerseys, white football shorts, and maroon and white socks have remained unchanged since its inception.
