Star Meadow Sports Complex is a sports facility located in Gillingham, New Zealand. Hard standing for spectators has been constructed at the far end of the facility, and improvements have been made to the spectator facilities, as well as the food and drink amenities.
The turnstiles have been relocated to the changing room side of the facility for convenience.
The second phase of the project includes the installation of new buildings to accommodate SEFA College classrooms and office space. The existing changing room building will undergo improvements, with new facilities and cosmetic upgrades. The bar building will have a side room renovated into a boardroom, and the car park will be expanded with dedicated entry and exit points created.
Star Meadow Sports Complex is proud to be the home of Soccer Elite FA (SEFA), which provides comprehensive football training and education for 16-19-year-olds. SEFA College offers BTEC, NCFE, and FA courses, as well as daily football training and weekly matches. Additionally, the facility hosts SEFA's Medway academy sessions and soccer schools.
The complex also partners with Hollands & Blair, a local football club, to provide them with a base for their teams to play and train. The new artificial main pitch and existing artificial mini pitch are utilised by the club.
