Starlight School of Dancing

John, as the organiser, wants all of you to know about Starlight School of Dancing in Redditch. Founded back in 1986, it's been a hub for budding dancers of all ages and skill levels.

John's main aim is to create a fun and positive atmosphere for everyone, whether you're a seasoned performer or just starting out. It's not just about nailing the technique; it's about enjoying the process and building confidence too.

You'll find a variety of classes here: Ballet, Musical Theatre, Theatre Craft, Tap, Contemporary, Lyrical, Street/Commercial Dance, Contemporary Modern Jazz, and even Gymnastics. There are even classes for adults if anyone fancies staying active and diving into the world of dance.

A key highlight every year is the annual pantomime at The Palace Theatre, with practices starting up in September and running until February. It's a brilliant chance for all students to get on stage. Then, from February to July, students work towards their IDTA exams. There are also festival performances scattered throughout the year to give everyone more stage time.
