Beach flags, wading, swimming, and boards are just a few examples of the exciting activities that await.
One of the unique aspects of Starfish Nippers is its connection with the Age Group Nipper programs. This allows participants to not only have a great time during our events but also work towards joining the main program in the future. It's a great way for them to develop their skills and become more involved in beach life.
It's worth mentioning that some of our Starfish Nippers have gone on to achieve their Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC). These talented individuals are now active patrolling members of Fingal Beach Surf Life Saving Club and also volunteer as water safety volunteers for Starfish Nippers. Their success serves as an inspiration to all our participants and showcases the potential for growth and achievement within our club.
Starfish Nippers is run entirely by dedicated volunteers who hold at least a Bronze Medallion Award or SRC, as well as a First Aid Certificate. While we may not have formal qualifications in working with children with special needs, we are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
