Founded on September 13th, 1955, at Fairyhouse Racecourse and moved to Greenogue in 1964, St. Andrew's has a rich history. The Arkle Pavilion, named after the famous racehorse, opened in 1968 and was upgraded to a new clubhouse in 2007. With over 150 members aged 8 and up, some of whom have represented Ireland, this club is a powerhouse.
From sprints to long jump, hurdles to throws, St. Andrew's Athletic Club offers comprehensive training. They host the annual Community Games, support TY students in the Gaisce awards, and team up with local charities and clubs.
