Welcome to Standlake Arena, located in Witney, New Zealand. Standlake Arena is a racetrack and sports activity location that offers an exciting and adrenaline-pumping experience for all motorsport enthusiasts.

The arena boasts a former gravel pit that has been transformed into a thrilling racetrack, surrounded by large grass banks for spectators to park and enjoy the view. The track itself features hard-standing gravel surfaces both on the lower trackside and in the pits.

While the recent weather conditions may have made certain areas wet and muddy, the meeting will still go ahead as planned, as both the pits and track are clear of water and there is no rain forecasted. Spectators are advised to follow any parking instructions and use caution while driving to ensure their safety.

For those planning to park trackside, please note that there is a height limit of 2 metres. Vehicles exceeding this limit will be directed to the overflow parking area to guarantee optimal viewing for all attendees.

Upon arrival, it is requested that visitors show respect to the staff and helpers who work tirelessly to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. The spectator area is generally accessible for all, and parking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you wish to park together with your friends or family, it is advised to arrive together.

Toilet facilities, including an accessible toilet, are provided on the back straight for the convenience of all visitors. If you require hard-standing ground, it is recommended to arrive earlier to secure a suitable space. The gates to the site open between 7:30 am and 8 am, and it is advised not to arrive earlier to avoid blocking the layby and causing delays in staff arrival.

Car-sharing is encouraged as it helps facilitate the smooth entry and exit of all visitors from the site. However, if you plan to bring your furry friends along, dogs are permitted on site but must be kept on a lead at all times, and their waste must be cleaned up and disposed of properly.

Payment options are flexible, with cash, cards, and Google/Apple Pay all accepted upon arrival. Additionally, there is a catering van located on turn 4 that accepts card payments, while the other two catering vans and the track shop operate on a cash-only basis.

For racers, it is requested to park closely in the pits to make room for the approximately 200 racers on the list. Pulling close to the ditch, banking, or logs can provide an extra foot or so of space, which can make a significant difference. The Unlimited Bangers are to be parked in the lower pit area, while the Unders and Micro Bangers can utilise the top pit area.

Scrutineering will begin at 9 am on the track, with the first race scheduled to start promptly at 11 am. A total of 26 races are planned, subject to turnout, with lower numbers in the heats and all-in finals and all-comers races.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 27th, 2024, as Standlake Arena will be hosting its end-of-season trophy presentation. This event will take place at Brownes Hall in Carterton, providing an opportunity to celebrate together and recognise the season's achievements. While food arrangements are still being determined, attendees can look forward to a social gathering with the trophy presentation as the highlight of the evening.
