Stanborough Park Water Sports Centre, nestled in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, offers an exciting array of water-based activities for all ages. Conveniently located near two bus stops and a 25-minute walk from the town centre train station, it's perfect for a day out with the family.
🏞️ Amidst beautiful countryside, the centre features two expansive lakes covering 126 acres. On the South Lake, visitors can dive into sailing, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, rafting, open water swimming, and health walks. 🎣 Families can learn new sports together with private tuition sessions or jump into RYA sailing courses for both adults and youths. Group activities, ideal for schools, clubs, or birthday parties, offer a unique experience on the water.
On the north side, discover Splashlands, a pirate-themed play park and splashpad. Enjoy refreshments from the kiosk with an assortment of drinks, snacks, and ice creams. Visitors can also hire rowing boats and pedalos on the North Lake during weekends and school holidays, from April to September.
