Vivienne Greener sends her warm regards to everyone in the sports community! She’s thrilled to share what’s happening at Stages School of Dance in North Shields. For those who haven’t heard, Vivienne founded the school in 1984, and it has since flourished, becoming a well-known spot in the North East dance scene.
Stages School of Dance offers something for everyone: Ballet, Modern/Jazz, Tap, Commercial Freestyle, Contemporary, Lyrical, Acro Dance, Fitness, and Musical Theatre. They’ve got three spacious studios right in the heart of North Shields, making it an ideal place for students to really get into the groove.
The teaching team is top-notch, all hailing from Newcastle and across the North East. They’re experienced and passionate about helping every student shine, whether they’re aiming to go pro or simply love dancing for fun. Vivienne and her crew believe dance is a way to build confidence, strength, discipline, and grace, all in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.
Vivienne also ensures that there are loads of opportunities for students to show off their skills, get teaching qualifications, and even assist in classes. It’s all about nurturing talent, and with plenty of performances and chances to grow, students get a real taste of what’s possible.
Under Vivienne’s guidance, the school sticks to its roots, providing excellent training in an inviting setting. Her own experience as an accomplished dancer and teacher speaks volumes: “We spot potential performers and give them an environment to develop technique and hone their performance skills,” she says.
