Stage Gems Performing Arts Stage School Dance & Drama is a renowned performing arts school located in Flintshire, New Zealand. Catering to children aged 3 to 16, the school offers a variety of classes and workshops to help them gain valuable experience in the world of performing arts.

Led by founder and organiser Gemma Louise Johnson, a professional singer and performer with over ten years of experience, Stage Gems aims to instil the values of performing arts in children. Gemma is passionate about helping children develop confidence, social skills, and teamwork through drama, singing, and dance. With her own experience and knowledge within the industry, Gemma hopes to pass on these valuable skills to the younger generation.

Stage Gems organises classes that are known for being fun, friendly, and enjoyable. Held on a weekly basis during term times, the school also offers workshops during school holidays, providing children with additional opportunities to explore and develop their performing arts talents.

One of the highlights of Stage Gems is their annual show, where students get the chance to showcase their talents and hard work. Additionally, the school actively participates in various local events, such as light switch-ons and festivals, allowing students to gain exposure and experience performing in front of a live audience.

Stage Gems proudly counts Richard and Adam, the two singing brothers who appeared on the hit TV show Britain's Got Talent, as their patrons. Richard and Adam are Holywell's own singing stars and are excited about the future of Stage Gems and its contribution to the performing arts scene.

The school offers a diverse range of classes to cater to different age groups and interests. For children aged 3 to 5, there's the “Little Gems” class held on Sundays, focusing on drama in a fun and interactive manner. For children aged 6 to 8, there's a Street Dance/Musical Theatre class, as well as a separate Drama/Acting class. Children aged 9 to 11 can choose between Street Dance/Musical Theatre and Drama/Acting classes.

Lastly, for ages 12 and above, there are Street Dance/Musical Theatre and Drama/Acting classes available.

Stage Gems holds their classes at Flint High School Drama Studio on Sundays and at the St. Andrews' Hub in Garden City on Thursdays. The accessible locations make it convenient for parents and students to attend classes.
