

2017. He has a wealth of experience in the performing arts industry, having trained at Laine Theatre Arts and worked as a professional performer for many years. Grant is passionate about nurturing and developing young potential and believes in providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
Assistant Principals – Sarah Jenkins and Emma Thompson Sarah and Emma both have extensive experience in performing arts education and have been with Stagecoach Woking for several years. They are dedicated to supporting students and helping them to grow in confidence and skill. They work closely with Grant to ensure the smooth running of the school and the delivery of high-quality classes.
Teaching Team – Our team of dedicated teachers are all Enhanced DBS checked, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students. They are experienced professionals in their fields and are passionate about sharing their knowledge and love for the performing arts with young people. Our teachers provide expert guidance and support to help students reach their full potential.
Stagecoach Woking offers a range of weekly classes for children aged 4–18 years, as well as holiday workshops during school breaks. Our Early Stages classes (ages 4–6 yrs) run alongside the main Stagecoach schools and introduce young people to singing, dancing, and drama in a fun and engaging way. These classes provide a solid foundation for future progression.
Our Main Stages classes (ages 6–18 yrs) are split into age-appropriate groups and offer comprehensive training in singing, dancing, and drama. We aim to nurture and develop each child's individual talents, whether they are shy and apprehensive or bursting with confidence. Our experienced teachers support and inspire students to reach their full potential in a safe and inclusive environment.
For students aged 15+ years, we offer Further Stages, which provides advanced training for those looking to extend their performance skills. These sessions include in-depth training, masterclasses, and preparation for auditions and interviews for theatre and vocational drama schools.
At Stagecoach Woking, we believe that performing arts education goes beyond developing performance skills. We aim to build confidence, improve communication skills, and nurture creativity and expression. We offer performing arts exams to give students goals to work towards and a sense of achievement.
