Stagecoach Performing Arts Wilmslow is a well-established performing arts group and dance and drama school located in Wilmslow, Cheshire. With over 25 years of experience, Stagecoach Wilmslow is a part of the UK's largest part-time performing arts network and is committed to fostering creativity, confidence, and life skills in students through classes in dance, drama, and singing.
Led by the highly qualified and passionate Principal, Emma Otway, Stagecoach Wilmslow offers a safe and supportive environment where children can stretch their imaginations, develop their skills, and grow in confidence. Under Emma's leadership, the school has experienced remarkable growth, expanding by over 200% since 2016.
Weekly classes are available for children aged 4–6 years, 6–18 years, and 15+. In the Early Stages classes (for ages 4-6 yrs), young students learn foundational skills in all three disciplines of musical theatre while having fun. These classes run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, making it an easy transition for students to progress to the next stage. Weekly classes for this age group are held at the Handforth Youth Centre and Handforth Grange Primary School.
For older students aged 6–18 years, Main Stages classes are divided into age-appropriate groups. These classes provide opportunities for students to develop new skills in singing, dancing, and acting. Stagecoach Wilmslow believes in nurturing every student, whether they are shy and apprehensive or brimming with talent and energy. Main Stages classes are held at the Handforth Youth Centre and Handforth Grange Primary School.
Stagecoach Wilmslow also offers advanced musical theatre sessions called Further Stages for students aged 15 and above. These sessions provide talented students with the opportunity to enhance their performance skills through intensive training and master classes.
Stagecoach Wilmslow is proud to offer LAMDA exams in Musical Theatre and Acting exclusively to its students. Through one-on-one coaching with experienced LAMDA coaches, students can prepare for individual examinations, earning qualifications and gaining confidence along the way.
