From performing with Andy Abraham on his tour, to showcasing their talents at major events like the Saracens/Harlequin and Saracens/Bristol Bears Rugby Matches, local festivals, and various Stagecoach events across the country, the students have had the chance to perform at prestigious venues such as Her Majesty's Theatre and The Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End. Moreover, the school has taken part in the Pre-Parade at Disneyland Paris and actively participated in numerous charity events, showcasing the students' dedication and talent.
Stagecoach Southwell offers weekly classes for different age groups, including Early Stages (for ages 4-6 yrs) and Main Stages (for ages 6-18 yrs). The Early Stages classes, running alongside the main school classes, focus on teaching young individuals the essential skills in singing, dancing, and acting, while also fostering confidence, sociability, and life skills. The Main Stages classes are split into three age-appropriate groups, allowing students to learn new skills in each of the complementary disciplines of musical theatre singing, dancing, and drama. Whether students are shy and apprehensive or bursting with talent and energy, Stagecoach Southwell provides a supportive and nurturing environment for their growth.
Stagecoach Southwell takes pride in the achievements of their students and has provided them with incredible opportunities to perform on esteemed platforms. This includes performances at prestigious West End theatres like His Majesty's Theatre (Formerly Her Majesty's Theatre) and The Shaftesbury Theatre, giving the students a chance to shine on the grandest stages. Moreover, Stagecoach Southwell hosted a trip to Disneyland Paris, where 50 students and their families took part in Disney Workshops, met characters, rode rides, and, most significantly, performed in the Pre-Parade. Leading the parade with the Stagecoach Banner was an exceptional honour for Principal Michelle Sills.
