At Stagecoach Southend, students aged 4–21 years old have the opportunity to act, sing, and dance in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere. The school is part of the Stagecoach South East Essex group and is open every Saturday afternoon during term time.

The weekly classes are divided into different age groups: Early Stages (4–6 years old), Main Stages (6-18 years old), and Further Stages (15+ years old). The Early Stages classes, which run alongside the main Stagecoach schools, introduce young children to the skills of singing, dancing, and drama. The Main Stages classes are split into age-appropriate groups and provide a comprehensive training in the three disciplines of musical theatre. The Further Stages classes are designed for advanced students who want to further develop their performance skills and pursue opportunities in theatre and vocational drama schools.

Stagecoach Southend also offers holiday workshops where students can immerse themselves in intensive training and explore different aspects of the performing arts.

In addition to the in-person classes, Stagecoach Southend provides a unique online learning experience called #stagecoachathome. Through this platform, students can join sessions with experienced tutors and industry professionals, further enhancing their skills and knowledge.
