Welcome to Stagecoach Performing Arts Liphook, a dynamic and thriving performing arts group that has been operating for 16 years. Located in Liphook, our school welcomes students aged 4 to 18 years to experience a well-rounded performing arts education. Led by our dedicated principal Leanne Desmond, Stagecoach Liphook is committed to providing excellence in performing arts education, nurturing each child's talents and supporting their growth.
At Stagecoach Liphook, we believe in fostering creativity, courage, and confidence in our students. Through our comprehensive drama, dance, and singing classes, students are challenged to develop their skills, increase their confidence, and enhance their communication abilities. Along the way, they make lifelong friends and have fun in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our students have numerous opportunities to showcase their talents. They participate in class work, demonstrations, and our annual show, which takes place in a professional theatre setting. In addition, we have a Performance Team open to Main School Pupils, giving them the chance to perform in local events, festivals, the West End, and even Disneyland Paris!
We offer additional value through various methods, including offering LAMDA exams in Acting or Musical Theatre, providing written reports, organising theatre trips, conducting specialist workshops, and offering professional representation for theatre, film, and TV work. Our team of experienced and passionate teachers, led by Leanne, are committed to delivering excellence in education, inspiring the students of Stagecoach Liphook to flourish not only in class but also in life.
At Stagecoach Liphook, we offer weekly classes for different age groups, including 4–6 years, 6–18 years, and 15+. We also provide holiday workshops, allowing students to further explore their creativity during school breaks. All our classes are led by our Enhanced DBS checked team, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of every child.
We are thrilled to announce that we will be launching the Further Stages+ programme soon. This part-time accredited performing arts programme enables pupils to achieve up to 28 UCAS points, equivalent to AS and A-Level qualifications. The programme is designed to equip young people with essential life skills, such as confidence, teamwork, public speaking, and resilience, enabling them to thrive in the future.
As a registered Ofsted provider, Stagecoach Liphook accepts childcare vouchers towards term fees, holiday workshops, and two-week trials. We also accept Tax Free Childcare, making it easier for parents to invest in their child's performing arts education.
We take pride in our 100% pass rate for LAMDA examinations over the past 17 years. Furthermore, we offer LAMDA exams during our Autumn and Summer Terms, supporting students who wish to pursue external exams, auditions, and scholarships outside of Stagecoach through one-to-one tuition.
With our wide range of workshops, such as the Gangsta Junior Workshop and Matilda Summer Workshop, Stagecoach Liphook ensures a diverse and enriching experience for every student.
