Chris Jones, the driving force behind Stagecoach Performing Arts Leighton Buzzard and Wing, wanted to reach out to the local sports community with some exciting updates. Chris has been instrumental in providing top-notch part-time performing arts training for children and young adults aged 4–18 years within Leighton Buzzard, Tring, and Wing.
Every Friday evening and Saturday morning, kids don their expressive hats and engage in singing, acting, and dancing under the watchful eyes of a passionate, professional team. Each teacher brings their own experience in performing arts, making the classes both authentic and enriching.
Safety is a priority for Chris, so the entire team undergoes Enhanced DBS checks, giving parents peace of mind. Beyond regular classes, Stagecoach also offers holiday workshops, pushing students to explore new areas of performing arts and further hone their skills.
The school's social media presence keeps everyone up-to-date with the latest news and events. A recent highlight was their performance at The Shaftesbury Theatre in the West End. Up next is their eagerly anticipated spring show, “Caractacus and the Magic Race Car,” featuring an eccentric inventor, his children, and a magical race car.
With the Tring school set to open in 2023, Chris invites newcomers to join a two-week trial starting in April 2023. Exciting opportunities, including performances at the Waterside Theatre and a collaboration with Ellen Kent for “Madame Butterfly,” have provided students with a stage to shine and develop their talents.
For those with younger children, the Early Stages classes for ages 4–6 run alongside the main programme. These classes nurture young talents in singing, dancing, and drama at Gilbert Inglefield Academy in Leighton Buzzard and The Cottesloe School in Wing.
Chris Jones and the team at Stagecoach Performing Arts Leighton Buzzard and Wing are dedicated to fostering young talents and providing a vibrant space for creativity and personal growth.
