At Stagecoach Leeds Alwoodley, we believe in nurturing the potential of every child. Our weekly classes cover all three disciplines of performing arts – drama, dance, and singing. Through these classes, children learn and develop important skills such as confidence, physical awareness, communication, and articulation. Not only are our classes educational, but they are also incredibly fun and engaging.
Our team at Stagecoach Leeds Alwoodley is dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment for your child. All members of our team have undergone Enhanced DBS checks, ensuring that your child is in good hands. We value the safety and well-being of our students above all else.
With exciting news and updates regularly shared on our Facebook page, you'll always be in the loop about what's happening at Stagecoach. From incredible performances at Her Majesty's Theatre to unforgettable trips to Disneyland Paris, our students have had the opportunity to showcase their talents on big stages and create memories that will last a lifetime.
We offer classes for different age groups, allowing every child to find their place and thrive. Our Early Stages classes are designed for children aged 4–6 years and run alongside our main Stagecoach schools. Through these classes, young ones can learn skills in singing, dancing, and drama, ensuring a smooth transition as they progress to the next stage.
For children aged 6–18 years, our Main Stages classes provide a more comprehensive exploration of the three disciplines, tailored to suit each age group. We believe in nurturing the shy and apprehensive, guiding them as they find their voice and confidence. At the same time, we challenge those with natural talent and energy, channelling their abilities and helping them reach their full potential.
We also offer advanced musical theatre sessions for students aged 15 and above through our Further Stages programme. These sessions focus on honing performance skills, providing in-depth training, and master classes. We aim to prepare students for auditions for theatre or vocational drama schools, ensuring they are well-equipped and confident.
Our school is located at Gateways School Leeds Road, Harewood, Leeds, Yorkshire, LS17 9LE, and Robert Craven Hall Moor Lane, Bramhope, Leeds, West Yorkshire, LS16 9AZ.
