Emma Wright BA (Hons) Acting from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, has been a driving force since joining Stagecoach East Kilbride in 2012. Starting as a Drama teacher and quickly advancing to Assistant Principal, Emma is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where students can explore their creativity and realise their potential. Her background in acting and theatre allows her to bring extensive knowledge and experience to every class.
Sarah Mitchell BA (Hons) Dance from the University of Glasgow, has been inspiring students at Stagecoach East Kilbride since 2015. A talented dancer and choreographer, Sarah is focused on helping students hone their technique, artistry, and performance skills. She is passionate about the power of dance to transform lives and strives to bring out the best in every student.
Michael Stewart BMus (Hons) Vocal Performance from the University of Edinburgh, joined the team in 2017. As an accomplished singer with a rich background in musical theatre and vocal performance, Michael is dedicated to helping students discover and develop their unique voices. He provides personalised guidance to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
At Stagecoach Performing Arts East Kilbride, children and young people aged 4-18 receive top-notch training in dance, drama, and singing. Classes are tailored to individual needs, enabling each student to grow in a nurturing environment. Weekly sessions are structured into Early Stages (ages 4-6), Main Stages (ages 6-18), and Further Stages (ages 15+), where students build confidence, make friends, and unleash their creativity.
In addition to weekly classes, Stagecoach offers holiday workshops, providing an immersive and enjoyable experience where students can learn new techniques and expand their performance skills. Full-scale shows and performances give students the chance to showcase their talents on a professional stage, providing an exhilarating taste of the performing arts world.
Students also benefit from workshops and masterclasses with West End cast members, gaining invaluable insights from top industry professionals. For those eyeing a career in the creative industries, Stagecoach offers one-on-one coaching for LAMDA exams, audition preparation, and professional casting opportunities.
