At Stagecoach Performing Arts Darlington, under the dedicated leadership of Heather Salvador, children are given the opportunity to explore their love for the performing arts. The focus is on creating a safe environment where kids can build confidence and communication skills through drama, dance, and singing.
Each week, children aged 4-18 attend classes that are both educational and enjoyable. These sessions offer the chance to partake in exams and showcase performances. The team, all of whom have undergone Enhanced DBS checks, are highly qualified and committed to the students' wellbeing.
Parents can stay informed via social media updates, including on Facebook. Students have performed at prestigious venues like Newcastle's Tyne Theatre, presenting pieces that pay tribute to iconic works such as Queen, High School Musical, and Newsies, among others.
Classes are tailored by age group. Early Stages classes for 4–6-year-olds run alongside Main Stages classes, introducing young students to the basics of performing arts. Main Stages cover ages 6-18, developing skills in drama, dance, and singing. For those aged 15 and above aspiring to advanced levels, Further Stages offer intensive training and preparation for auditions for theatre and drama schools.
Stagecoach Darlington is located at Centre Stage, Unit 6, 80 Eastmount Road, Darlington, Co. Durham, DL1 1LA, with classes held on Fridays and Saturdays. Prospective students can enrol through the website or by directly contacting Heather Salvador.
Join Stagecoach Darlington to embark on a journey that encourages courage, confidence, and a passion for the performing arts.
