

Welcome to Stagecoach Performing Arts Chertsey, a leading performing arts group and dance school in Chertsey, New Zealand. With a focus on creative courage for life, Stagecoach Chertsey offers quality part-time training in the performing arts for children and teenagers aged 4-6 (Early Stages) and 6-18 (Main Stages).
Classes in singing, dancing, and drama run on Saturdays during term time, with holiday workshops also available. Stagecoach Chertsey has received seven outstanding grades in independent inspections and recently achieved the highest grading of 'Exceeds Expectations' for the quality of teaching in the categories of singing, drama, and dance, as well as student progress and achieving potential.
At Stagecoach Chertsey, there is no audition process, and no prior experience is necessary. We offer a two-week tryout period for interested students. Our friendly and nurturing school environment ensures that children quickly make new friends and experience the fun of becoming part of a team as they learn valuable performance skills and skills for life.
Under the guidance of Principal Caroline McCrink, who holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Theatre Arts, Stagecoach Chertsey provides a safe and secure learning environment. All members of our team are Enhanced DBS checked.
We are OFSTED registered and have been operating at St Anne's Primary school in Chertsey for 20 years. Our school is also registered for the tax-free childcare scheme, and childcare vouchers are accepted.
Stagecoach Chertsey offers performing arts exams and provides opportunities for students to perform in prestigious venues such as Her Majesty's Theatre and The Shaftesbury Theatre in London. Recently, a group of 20 Stagecoach Chertsey students had the privilege of performing in the West End at a gala evening at The Shaftesbury Theatre.
