Sharon, the organiser of Stagecoach Performing Arts Cheltenham, would like to say a big hello to the sports community. She's been running this drama and dance school in Cheltenham since 2000 and is still as enthusiastic as ever.
The school's based at Cleeve School in Bishops Cleeve, and it's all about making sure kids have fun while learning. They have weekly classes on Saturdays. For the little ones aged 4–6 years, there’s a 1.5-hour session, and for those aged 6 and above, there’s a 3-hour session. Plenty of time for performances, projects, and making new friends.
Sharon and her team of teachers are not just experienced but also passionate about performing arts. They’ve tailored their teaching methods to help every child shine in a supportive and inclusive environment. Plus, new students can enjoy a two-week trial to see what it's all about.
Stagecoach Cheltenham follows its own educational framework for singing, dance, and drama. There are also examination opportunities through Lamda for those interested. Sharon’s team is very dedicated to safety; all staff have Enhanced DBS checks, and they keep parents updated through Facebook and a noticeboard.
For anyone thinking about joining, there are classes for ages 4–6, 6–18, and 15+. They even offer holiday workshops. Sharon’s made sure the school accepts childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare, and it’s OFSTED accredited.
