Stagecoach Performing Arts Leeds Roundhay offers an exciting and fun-filled Contemporary Dance event for children aged 2–4 years. Introducing the Stagecoach Mini Stages, this activity provides a safe and comfortable environment for little ones to actively engage in the performing arts.
During the themed classes, which last for 45 minutes each week, children have the opportunity to let their imaginations run wild. Through songs, stories, and more, they are encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves. Not only does this foster their love for the arts, but it also helps to improve their literacy, numeracy, communication, and social skills.
The Mini Stages program runs for a 12-week term, allowing children to truly immerse themselves in the wonderful world of dance. To give parents and guardians an opportunity to try out the classes, a 2-week trial is available for just £15. This way, you can see if the Mini Stages experience is the perfect fit for your little one.
For those who have already experienced the joy of Mini Stages and are ready to take their dance journey to the next level, there are the Early Stages classes. Designed for children aged 4–6 years, these 90-minute weekly sessions offer a more comprehensive exploration of contemporary dance. It's a fantastic way for kids to continue building their skills and confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.
